Regular cleaning maintains a home that is already clean. Post-renovation cleaning removes construction fallout: fine cement dust, adhesive residue and debris that settle into every crevice, track, hinge and cornice.

Renovation dust is finer than household dust, it travels, and it keeps resettling for weeks if it is not properly removed the first time. That is why a home can look clean at handover and still leave grit on your fingers when you run them along a ledge or the top of a door frame.

Living Room and Bedrooms

A little preparation lets us reach everything properly:

• Clear your cabinets and wardrobes. We wipe all exteriors as standard, and we clean interiors once they have been emptied.
• Book before your furniture arrives. An empty home lets us reach skirting, window tracks and floor edges properly.
• Ask your contractor to clear glue, paint, plaster and cement marks first. Those need harsh chemicals or scraping that can permanently damage new surfaces, so they belong with the trade that applied them.

We are not the cheapest option, and we do not try to be. We would rather take the time to do the job properly than rush and leave the parts nobody checks until after they have moved in.

1. Walkthrough and assessment. A BTO handover and a full landed renovation are not the same job, so we look at what your renovation actually left behind.
2. Top down. Ceilings, cornices and high surfaces first, so dust that falls during cleaning does not undo finished areas.
3. Detail work. Tracks, grilles, hinges, switches, skirting, cabinet interiors and the corners that get skipped when a clean is rushed.
4. Wet work. Sinks, WCs, tiles and glass washed and disinfected.
5. Floors last, so anything dislodged earlier is picked up rather than walked through the home.
6. VG PRO finish to sanitise and deodorise.
7. Final walkthrough with you before we pack up.

General cleaning handles surfaces. If your floors are textured, or you can still feel grit underfoot afterwards, floor machine deep cleaning is what lifts residue out of seams and surface texture.

If your home has new carpentry, formaldehyde treatment is worth considering while the space is still empty and easy to work in.

What is included in post-renovation home cleaning?

How is it different from regular home cleaning?

It is more thorough, takes longer, and needs different tools and solutions to avoid smearing residue around.

Should I book before or after my furniture is delivered?

Before, in almost every case. An empty home lets us reach skirting, window tracks, cabinet interiors and floor edges properly. Once furniture arrives those areas become hard to access, and any remaining dust gets sealed in place.

What is VG PRO?

VG PRO is our in-house all-surface cleaning solution that sanitises and deodorises as it cleans. It is safe on vinyl, tile, timber, laminate, glass, mirror and stone, dries fast, and leaves no dulling residue.

Do you clean inside cabinets and wardrobes?

Yes, where they have been emptied. We wipe all cabinet exteriors as standard, and we clean interiors once your items are cleared out, so clearing them before we arrive means nothing gets missed.

What about glue, paint, plaster or cement stains?

These are handled by your renovation contractor rather than by us. Removing them requires harsh chemicals or scraping, which risks permanently damaging your new surfaces, so it is safer with the party who applied them and carries the warranty.

Do you also provide floor deep cleaning and formaldehyde treatment?

Yes. Post-renovation home cleaning, floor machine deep cleaning and formaldehyde treatment are all in-house services, and we can complete all of them in a single day.
